DRY CELLULOSE SAMPLING SPONGES

Dry Sponges The cellulose sponge was selected for Solar-Cult on the basis of an exhaustive study carried out by E.F. Daly, F. Pagotto and J.M. Farber at the Banting Research Center of Health Canada. These researchers observed that the cellulose sponge was the best sampling material available in terms of non-inhibitory effects on food-borne pathogens. To ensure continuation of this property, our rigorous quality control program requires testing to conform that each lot of cellulose sponges used in theproduction is non-inhibitory to food-borne pathogens.

The dry cellulose sponge Cat # SBI-100-1 is packaged in a sealed compartment that is attached to a sterile 18 OZ twirl style sample bag. The package allows for easy access without compromising the sterility of the sample bag. Alternatively the cellulose sponge may be purchased in a convenient peel open tyvec chevron pouch Cat # CS-100, CS-500, CS2500.

The new DCS series of cellulose sponge offers an economical choice by packaging the cellulose sponge directly inside the 18 OZ twirl style sample bag.
